River Road is located along three miles of the Cape Fear River in New Hanover County, just outside the city limits of Wilmington, North Carolina. River Road is approximately five miles directly south of Historic Downtown Wilmington, and a 15-minute drive to the area's beaches. It is also only 15 miles southwest of the Wilmington International Airport and allows easy access to Interstate 40. Downtown Wilmington is 10 minutes by boat and the Atlantic Ocean is a half hour cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway.
