Welcome to River Road*, a new residential community currently under initial development in New Hanover County. Following public dialogue, discussion and input from the local community, River Road has been designed to help the County carefully balance its growing need for a wide range of new homes and jobs with the protection of unique environmental assets, creation of new parks and trails, public river access and the preservation of the history and character that makes New Hanover County so inviting and unique.
This new community presents the opportunity to preserve Wilmington's natural resources while honoring the community's past and present.
